World Environment Day is celebrated worldwide on 5 June, an initiative of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). This year’s theme is: “Ending plastic pollution.”
In line with its environmental policy, Kuldipsingh Port Facility N.V. (KPF) recognizes that environmental protection and sustainability are linked to the success and continuity of its activities. As a logistics base supporting the oil and gas industry and other vital sectors, KPF strives to structurally integrate environmental management into all its processes. Our approach is aligned with international standards, including ISO 14001, and focuses on minimizing our ecological footprint, protecting biodiversity and promoting sustainable industrial growth. We apply a life cycle approach, in which every phase of our logistics services contributes to a cleaner and safer living environment. On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, Kuldipsingh gave a special meaning to this day. Together with representatives of valued customers at its oil and gas shore base, including the base manager of TotalEnergies, representatives of Schlumberger and Weatherford, employees of Technip, and under the leadership of the CEO of KPF, a fun environmental activity was organized. During this activity, each participant was given the opportunity to plant a fruit tree themselves. The member was allowed to dig a hole in the ground, fill the hole with black soil, choose a fruit plant and plant it, followed by watering and adding organic fertilizer. Finally, the planter was allowed to provide the plants with a name tag with his or her name and group photos were taken as a memento of this joint effort.
This action not only contributes to greening our site but also stimulates long-term environmentally conscious behavior. Participants were encouraged to return to their planted tree regularly to care for it. With this symbolic but concrete action, Kuldipsingh underlines its commitment to environmental protection.
Our motto: “Not only take but also give back to mother nature.”
