On July 25, 2024, Kuldipsingh Port Facility N.V. (KPF) launched the first blood donation project in collaboration with the Surinamese Red Cross.
The KPF staff, who were screened on World Health Day in April 2024, had the opportunity to make their first blood donation on July 25, 2024. Those who had not yet been screened also had the opportunity to do so on that day. Their results will be available two months after the screening date.
The Surinamese Red Cross was willing to set up their equipment at a suitable KPF location to give the staff the opportunity to donate blood during working hours as an act of love. The donors received their first blood donation pin, a cookie, and a giveaway with their blood type noted from the Surinamese Red Cross. The management of KPF is extremely proud of its employees who volunteered to help increase the blood donors list and has made the necessary arrangements to provide adapted work to the staff who donated.
The Surinamese Red Cross was very enthusiastic about the new addition of blood donors and looks forward to the second donation at KPF.
